I had anticipated two weeks in Rijswijk with day train-trips etc. Instead, on Sunday, I was in the car with Lauren and Merel, driving to Brussels where Lauren was to sing with the Gesualdo Consort! We arrived at the Eglise N-D De La Chapelle at 2.00pm in time for Lauren's rehearsal.

While Lauren rehearsed, Merel and I walked up to the Grand Place-Grote Markt, taking in the Manneken Pis on the way...
Photos can't do justice to the wrap-around effect of the Grand Place-Grote Markt where, on all four sides, you are surrounded by sumptuous buildings.
