Preparation...



It used to be (for me anyway) that the main focus of packing for overseas travel was clothes. No longer. Now it's ensuring that I have not only the laptop, the keyboard and mouse, the kindle, the cell phone and the digital camera but, just as importantly...

  • the laptop charger
  • the kindle charger
  • the cell phone charger
  • the camera battery charger
  • the connection to download photos to the laptop
Rattle, rattle.

      I don't like my cell either. I keep dropping it and sitting on it and losing it. And I get told off for not taking it everywhere I go.

    Happily cellphones/smartphones are standardising on micro-usb which means we can take one USB charger for 3 devices. If only the camera and laptop makers could agree!
